Long before turning their passion into a business, Tes and Daniel were both avid collectors of vintage and antique furniture and design pieces, drawn to the craftsmanship, history, and character these objects bring to a space. This lifelong appreciation for design naturally evolved into a professional practice; and by blending their creative disciplines Tes and Daniel have cultivated a distinctive design language that reflects their shared love for storytelling, artistry, and the power of thoughtfully curated spaces.
With Saturday Generation, Tes and Daniel are committed to building and supporting the local design community, fostering collaboration and encouraging emerging designers to explore new ideas.
Tes Hash has a background that spans the arts, music, and philosophy. Beginning their education in art photography, Tes went on to work as an artist manager in the music industry before transitioning into music video production, taking on roles as a set designer, producer, and director.
After years in the creative world, Tes pursued a different path, spending five years as a PhD fellow in philosophy at the University of Chicago. This deep engagement with philosophy shaped their approach to understanding life, space, and human experiences in ways that now inform how they design environments.
Driven by an intuitive attention to how aesthetics, feeling and emotion intersect, Tes brings her passion for storytelling and design to her showroom, staging, and decorating services.
